Applicants for doctorates in the technical field (m/f/d)
Your tasks- According to systematic familiarisation, you will take on your own development project at a high scientific level with the aim of writing a doctoral thesis in this field of work, e.g. in the following specialist areas
- New and further development of sensors for coordinate metrology (image processing, optics, mechanics, computed tomography)
- Software development for the evaluation and visualisation of 3D data
- Development and validation of new correction methods for sensors and CMMs
- Implementation of customer-specific measurement task and measurement uncertainty analyses
- Improvement of measurement and production processes
- Benchmark tests and implementation of new standards and guidelines
- Further development of multi-sensor concepts with optical and tactile sensors as well as X-ray computed tomography

- You have a very good university degree in a technical or similar discipline
- Excellent communication skills and self-confident demeanour
- Enthusiasm for technical products
- Motivation to learn independently
- Ability to work in a team and organisational talent
- Confident handling of MS Office programmes
- Initial experience with simulation or evaluation software (Phyton or Matlab)
- Good knowledge of German and English
