We are looking for you at our Giessen site as a

Commercial Specialist in Debt Collection (m/f/d)

• Preparing and sending written reminders via the Business Central ERP system
• Following up on outstanding receivables by telephone and in writing
• Maintaining our customers’ master data in the ERP system
• Communicating with internal departments such as Sales, Service and Order Processing to clarify outstanding items
• Handling insolvency proceedings and communicating with insolvency practitioners
• Initiating court-ordered debt collection proceedings where necessary
• Assisting with the reporting of outstanding receivables for the Controlling department, in particular for our global subsidiaries

• Successfully completed vocational training in a commercial field, ideally as an industrial clerk (m/f/d)
• Several years’ professional experience in bookkeeping or debt collection
• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
• Good knowledge of accounts receivable management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central would be a benefit
• Good written and spoken English
• An open personality, with a friendly and approachable manner
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• A self-motivated, reliable and structured approach to work
